Zelenskyy Visits UAE Amid Peace Talks Speculation, Rejects U.S. Minerals Deal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted his official visit to the United Arab Emirates during late Sunday resulting in conjecture over possible diplomatic talks to halt Moscow’s warfare against Ukraine. The president’s trip takes place as U.S. President Donald Trump shows signs of arranging a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia.

The Zelenskyy couple received a military welcome in Abu Dhabi as they finished their Munich Security Conference attendance in Germany. The Ukrainian leader made his debut visit to the United Arab Emirates since Russia began its large-scale invasion of Ukraine during 2022.
