U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed absolute support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday during their meeting while describing Iran as the “single greatest source of instability” across the Middle East.
Rubio and Netanyahu conducted talks in Jerusalem regarding regional safety after Israel entered another fragile truce agreement with Hamas which Iran supported. Since its establishment the truce has endured numerous challenges during its running of two months. Rubio declared Hamas needs total elimination but he gave credit to Donald Trump for his revolutionary Gaza territorial oversight plan.
Publicly addressing media representatives Netanyahu declared Iran to be the most vital issue in the present circumstance. Rubio stood with the same view by declaring that Iran supports all terrorist groups and every violent action that puts peace and stability at risk.
Iran uses its funding resources to support conflict groups including Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi militants in Yemen. A 2023 International Atomic Energy Agency report established that Iran’s uranium enrichment system reached almost weapon-grade levels as Tehran continues to pursue its missile development programs.
The ayatollahs should not obtain nuclear weapons according to the agreement stated by Netanyahu. According to Netanyahu Israel delivered a strong strike against Iranian regional influence during the previous year and a half.
Netanyahu declared that Israel would complete its mission because of the ongoing U.S. backing during the temporary ceasefire. The details regarding these future actions remain illogical to understand.
The U.S.-Israel joint statement declared their “shared strategy” for Gaza’s fate although Netanyahu emphasized “the coming day of destruction.”
Hamas leaders along with officials from Iran neglected to provide comments regarding this request.
