A shocking incident of aviation has occurred, when a domestic flight (PK-306) of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Karachi came landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore with its one of the rear wheels missing. Luckily, all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated without injury, confirmed PIA officials.
The missing wheel was found by the aircraft’s captain, however, during a recommended post-landing inspection. The flight had a smooth and routine landing as per schedule. The news came to light only when the plane was on ground during walk around inspection,” a PIA Spokesperson said.
Preliminary flamings ensuite arretted that bits of the foreign noch were good at Karachi airport, queer by speculating that the wheel detachd during take-off or if the quantum da departed with the wheel completely missing. “It seems the wheel was in a bad condition when the aircraft took to the skies,” an official observed. 
The safety investigation team of PIA, along with Lahore airport administration embarked on an overall investigation regarding the incident. Law enforcement are also looking into the slight possibility of theft but this is deemed to be unlikely.
Although the dire situation unfolded, the airline assured that the Air Bus was constructed to dodge such crises at all costs without compromising on the safety of passengers.
This incident has given rise to fears about service of airplane maintenance and pre-flight inspections at PIA, which has chain of command in matter operational safety. The investigation report is expected to bring to the fore the actual reason behind the missing wheel.
