While, the last operation in Daraban, Dera Ismail Khan district, took life a single militant.
ISPR says that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists who had been involved in different acts of terrorism. Security forces under Damien lowest have launched clearing operations of the affected areas to eliminate any remaining threats and assure their determination to clear terrorism off from Pakistan.
These successful operations occur against a backdrop of growing militancy in Pakistan, with a 42% rise in terrorist attacks over the previous month in January 2025, the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) reports. The most affected provinces are Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
