Thousands of demonstrators across all fifty United States united during February 5th 2025 to protest former President Donald Trump’s policies together with Elon Musk’s engagement with government and the debatable Project 2025 initiative. The demonstrations united nationwide under the campaign names #BuildTheResistance and #50501 (meaning fifty protests desirous of reaching every state during a single day) which stretched across American soil from west to east.

Elon Musk encountered fierce criticism during his position as head of Trump’s newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). People in Missouri along with Texas demanded information about Treasury Department data from Elon Musk based on signs that read “Why does Elon have your Social Security info???” and “DOGE is not legit.” 
The demonstrations focused on Project 2025 which featured as a far-right American governmental restructuring plan. People assembled in Austin and Atlanta and Denver organized demonstrations which displayed two primary messages: “Immigrants are welcome here without hate or fear” and “Deport Elon” and multiple participants discussed their concerns regarding America’s diminishing democratic standards.
At the Minnesota rally in St. Paul Hallie Parten displayed a protest sign which read “Harris Walz Were Right” to express national worries about American politics. атмосфера в Алабаме buzzed with opposition against local political efforts to limit sex to binary categories.
Organizers have declared plans to maintain their protest activities because tensions continue to intensify between them and Trump’s administration. According to Michigan protester Catie Miglietti stopping this attack would defend the democratic principles of our nation.
The movement shows no signs of slowing down, with activists pledging to defend civil liberties and push back against what they see as an authoritarian shift in American politics.
