Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has renewed his position that Kashmir should be solved through negotiations between India and Pakistan while considering Kashmiri people’s desires.
Erdogan finalized his Pakistan visit by meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to sign 24 agreements with an additional Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that would strengthen bilateral ties between both countries.
The Turkish president Erdogan spoke to media representatives about the requirement of resolving Kashmir through peaceful UN-foundationed terms. The president affirmed that both Pakistan and Turkey support Kashmiri people through a long-term historical alliance.

Erdogan along with Sharif spent their meeting on developing the strong bonds between Pakistan and Turkey. Various agreements were signed between the two countires which extended to trade, energy, agriculture, banking, education, and defense sectors.

The Turkish president received a grand reception at Nur Khan airbase followed by formal ceremonies held at Prime Minister’s House and symbolic planting with Shehbaz Sharif watched by a guard of honor.
