Three killed, one seriously injured in a police confirmed Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province hand grenade blast on Saturday

An incident happened at the under-construction house in Parachinar city ( Kurram district)adjecent to Afghanistan border, it was reported.

First details indicated that bomb went off following a fight between those at the scene, initial reports said.

“A person in possession of the grenade went on to pull the pin and detonated it during a verbal dispute,” said a police official.

No names of deceased and injured have been released yet.

Emergency services rushed the victims to the district hospital where the wounded is being treated.

The authorities have initiated a wide-ranging probe in order to find out what exactly caused the blast and why. The police said further action will be decided after the completion of investigation from injured survivor.

The blast has also concerned the presence of illicit weapons in areas across the Asia- Africa border that has witnessed a bout of local insurgency over past years.
