The Vatican medical staff performed diagnostic testing then confirmed the pontiff was receiving treatment for both respiratory tract infection inflammation along with mild fever symptoms.
All public events of the Pope including the Jubilee Audience with pilgrims on February 15, Holy Mass on February 16 and the meeting with artists on February 17 have been moved to later dates.
