Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron established a new diplomatic milestone when they jointly launched India’s consulate facility in Marseille on Wednesday. The button-pressing event during the inauguration celebrated Marseille because the city became the initial continental French location for an Indian consulate.
