PM Modi Urges Global AI Governance at Paris Summit

During the AI Action Summit in Paris Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocated worldwide collaboration to create rules and ethical guidelines for artificial intelligence (AI). At the Paris event French President Emmanuel Macron joined Modi as they co-led discussions about how AI offers new power to economies and security frameworks as well as social systems.

According to Modi during his speech at the Grand Palais he emphasized the necessity for international cooperation to create governance guidelines which protect fundamental principles while handling potential dangers and fostering trust across the world.

His remarks occur during a time when AI is transforming worldwide industries but creates concerns about employment losses. Throughout history technology gradually replaces existing jobs instead of eliminating work because it generates positions with different responsibilities according to Modi. He emphasized that our society needs to dedicate funding to train people for AI-based work environments.
